Epson will display its latest printing and projection technology at the Studio at Siggraph 2015 – 'Creative Disruption' running through August 9 to 13, 2015 at the Los Angeles Convention Center.

The Studio is a unique forum to engage with professionals and academics, who focus on content-creation in digital, physical, social, and other outlets to inspire future collaboration.

In a press release, Epson said its printers will be available for hands-on use at the Studio and are the primary 2D printing solutions featured throughout the duration of the conference.

“Attendees visiting the Studio will have access to a range of printing and projection technologies, techniques and applications with help from experienced hands,” Epson added.

The Epson SureColor P600 and Epson Stylus Photo R2000 will be on-hand to print original photography, digital artwork, panoramas, and canvas.

According to Epson, the SureColor P600 leverages an advanced MicroPiezo AMC printhead with next-generation Epson UltraChrome HD pigment inks driven by enhanced AccuPhoto HD imaging technology.

Attendees will have an opportunity to design and print directly onto t-shirts using the Epson SureColor F2000 direct-to-garment (DTG) printer.

“Equipped with Epson UltraChrome DG ink technology and the Epson PrecisionCore TFP printhead, the SureColor F2000 delivers precise performance directly onto t-shirts, hoodies, jackets, tote bags, and more,” it informed.

Epson will also show large-format prints and posters to print up to 44-inches wide using the Epson SureColor T7270.

Featuring the Epson PrecisionCore TFP printhead and Epson UltraChrome XD pigment ink for brilliant, crisp output, the SureColor T7270 delivers extreme line accuracy with resolutions up to 2880 x 1440 dpi.

"Epson has been a longstanding technology and information resource for our community of artists and photographers,” said Reid Baker, chair, Studio at Siggraph 2015.

“With an expanded presence this year, Epson accounts for nearly all of the printing and projection technologies utilised in the Studio," Baker added.

As part of the Siggraph Studio, Eddie Murphy, part of Epson Professional Imaging Product Management, conducted an in-depth interactive course, Digital T-Shirt Design and Printing on August 9. (AR)
