US propylene prices tank last week from sluggish trends

Propylene prices tanked in the US, but fell slower in Europe in the last week ended August 7 due to sluggish buying trends in the region.
In Europe, average prices dipped by € 5/ton or 0.56 per cent and were quoted at € 895/ton in the last week, as compared to its previous week.
In US, average prices decreased by 5 cents/pound and were assessed at 20 cents/pound in the last week, down 20 per cent as against its previous week.
