Asian benzene down on Aug 24 from lower upstream prices

Benzene prices went down in Asia on Monday (Aug 24) led by lower upstream energy prices, upstream product prices, downstream product prices and lower benzene prices in US.
In Korea, prices were assessed at US$ 540/ton, lower by US$ 45/ton or 7.69 per cent as compared to prices at the end of last week.
In Japan, prices were quoted at US$ 545/ton, down by US$ 35/ton or 6.03 per cent as against prices at the end of the prior week.
In India, prices were spotted at US$ 550/ton, also lower by US$ 40/ton or 6.78 per cent vis-à-vis prices at the end of the previous week.
In Korea, prices were assessed at US$ 540/ton, lower by US$ 45/ton or 7.69 per cent as compared to prices at the end of last week.
