Textile City - new hub for foreign investment
22
Dec '06
Textile City's '100 foreign merchants meeting' recently concluded under the theme of investment into commercial and trading sectors in Textile City. Upon the ending of the conference, many foreign merchants expressed their intention to invest into China Textile City.

Shaoxing County is one of China's textile production and business bases, and also one of the regions with the highest proportion of textile exports in China. Relying on the enormous driving power of industries and textile market platform, Shaoxing County attracts continuous influx of foreign investors.

Textile City currently has more than 290 permanent foreign representative offices with about 1000 permanent foreigners.

Textile City will actively guide foreign representative offices to achieve their aims through establishment of foreign-invested enterprises. At the same time they could further promote the internationalization, enlarge marketing channels and sales markets for Textile City.
