Mahyco Monsanto Biotech India Limited (MMB) is committed to providing the best of technologies to the Indian cotton farmer. Since its introduction in 2002, Bollgard technology has been rapidly adapted by farmers.

The year 2006 witnessed a phenomenal increase in Bollgard acreages with more than 2 million farmers adapting the technology across 8.6 million acres and giving them tremendous economic benefits.

MMB in India operates with a wide network of Indian partners and works closely with them. The Bollgard technology has been licensed to more than 20 seed companies, which give Indian farmers a wide choice of hybrids that are suitable for Indian geographies.

At MMB, we believe that the success of our technologies in India is through this partnership and with this association we are able to reach a vast number of farmers all across the country. We are in discussions with our sub licensees to resolve our trait fee differences amicably. We are hopeful that we will be able to resolve our differences quickly and move ahead.
