Great interest and success for the first ever training courses on nonwovens and on absorbent hygiene products in India calls for EDANA's and BCH's continued support of the huge potential nonwovens market.
EDANA, in co-operation with BCH, has organised its two highly-acclaimed nonwovens and absorbent hygiene products training courses, for the first time in India in November 2006. As a result of this successful “première” which witnessed both national and international participation, and in view of the on-going needs of the nascent nonwovens industry, EDANA and BCH announce the next course for the Autumn 2007.
Taking place during the week of 13th November 2006 in New Delhi, these 2-day training courses, attended by a record number of participants (40 for the nonwovens course and 30 for the absorbent hygiene products training course), have given a unique opportunity for India's newcomers to the industry, to quickly gain a complete understanding of the various technologies, processes, raw materials and market aspects of nonwovens and absorbent hygiene products.
Although designed specially for marketing and technical/R&D executives from producers, suppliers and converters, the training courses has also attracted the interest of potential investors and business executives who are considering entering these exciting sectors which have a high potential in India.
Besides becoming acquainted with the various nonwoven technologies, attendees also had the opportunity to network and share views both with newcomers as well as experienced players in the nonwovens industry.
