Juki to spread Juki brand in Vietnam

Jan '07
Juki Corporation will be holding a Comprehensive Private Exhibition of its products in two cities in Vietnam from January to February of 2007.

Juki normally sets up a separate individual exhibition for the customers in each of the Juki business segment. But from last year we made a change. As the market leader in industrial sewing machines worldwide, we now hope to encourage the spread of our brand power in industrial sewing machines into the other Juki businesses.

To accomplish this, we have begun exhibiting products from three Juki businesses comprehensively—industrial sewing machines, SMT systems, and household sewing machines.

The first of these comprehensive exhibitions were held in four cities of India from July to November of 2006. These exhibitions drew as many as 13,000 visitors, triple the expected turnout, and were reported by major media in every city.

The results were also outstanding: sales grew in each business segment and the industry recognition of Juki's high technical level spread across product lines. We interpret our steadily growing sales in India as a testament to the favorable reaction of customers.

The exhibitions in Vietnam will be our second comprehensive series. We expect to reinforce the JUKI brand in Vietnam based on the experience and know-how we acquired during the exhibitions in India.

Juki started supporting the apparel industries in Vietnam more than 30 years ago. Today, over three decades later, the JUKI name is synonymous with “industrial sewing machines” in the region.
