Textiles at Apata Central Market burnt by fire

Property worth millions of naira was destroyed in a fire which broke out on January 10, 2007 at Apata Central Market in Ibadan. Sections in the market, where ladies sell textile materials, were burnt by the blaze.
It is believed that some troublemakers who opened a fuel depot in this market are responsible for the fire.
