CAFTA schedules a meeting

The Committee for the Implementation of Textile Agreements (CITA) is considering Commercial Availability request 16.2006.12.18.Fabric.Alston&BirdforRothschild.
CITA has scheduled a meeting with representatives of S. Rothschild & Co Inc and Warren Corporation. The meeting will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, January 29, 2007, in Room 1410 of the U.S. Department of Commerce in Washington, D.C. The meeting is open to all interested parties.
However, in accordance with section 8(c)(4) of the interim procedures, the purpose of the meeting is to allow the interested entities, Rothschild and Warren, to provide additional evidence to support their claims and information previously submitted to CITA.
Such evidence may include product samples, lab tests, detailed descriptions of production facilities, and comparisons of product performance in the intended end-use of the subject product.
See section 8(c)(4)(i). It is important that company representative(s) are knowledgeable about the production and details of the fabrics. Any additional information submitted during this meeting will be part of the public record, unless properly marked as business confidential. See section 3(a)(3).
Any additional information submitted during this meeting must be accompanied by a Due Diligence Certification. See section 3(b). Any additional evidence you wish to provide may be submitted prior to the meeting to the Chairman, Committee for the Implementation of Textile Agreement, Room H3100, U.S. Department of Commerce, 14th and Constitution Ave., N.W., Washington, D.C. 20230.
