Violence broke out in Bacu between management of Chinese textile company and 200 Chinese female workers, protesting against the low wages paid to them.

The workers, demanding hike in their wages, went into owner's office armed with spoons and forks.

As the company demanded a fee amounting to 25 percent of wages, workers claimed to double their current wages of $35.

Company is going to take legal action against workers and send them back to their homeland. It had already recruited 1,000 workers through another company in China.
