Belgian fashion designers Dries van Noten and Kris van Assche presented their Autumn/Winter 2007-2008 men's wear collection in Paris that showed a prominent feminine blend.
Noten range included softer fabrics for accessories like silk scarves over exquisite sheer sweaters or bomber jackets.
Explaining his line, he told the media, "I think that's really part of elegance, I think 'why not'. You can easily mix masculine and feminine elements in a collection, like extremely shiny shoes. My main thing that I wanted to do was create a kind of a strange elegance, really with a lot of attention to details, shapes and colours and proportions.”
Raf Simons show offered jackets, coats with lined insets some of which were partly zipped and body-hugging trousers.
