Thirdly, private enterprises have become the main force in cotton product exports. The proportion of private enterprises gained from 24 percent in 2005 to 34.8 percent in 2006, contributing more than 65 percent to the export growth.

Based on different tariff rate from 1-5 percent, and three million tons of industrial consumption, cotton enterprises reduced production costs by about 3.8 billion yuan.

In January-November, by strengthening their internal management and technological progress, personnel labor productivity of textile enterprises reached 213,000 yuan, a year-on-year climb of 19.6 percent, adding 26.5 billion yuan by exploring efficiency.
