Summer 2008: The “Making Of”- Of the 6,000 samples received, 2,000 were selected by the organizers and presented to the visitors, offering them a new take on summer 2008. Forward-thinking and poetry are never far away with products demonstrating increasing subtlety: we're moving into a soft techno trend (new weave effects and more polished embellishment) where patterns are increasingly elegant and bold mixing and matching is positively encouraged! Depending on their sector, exhibitors are working simultaneously on two or three seasons. While buyers reserve fabrics and production capacities for the long-term, Tissu Premier also coordinates business meetings focusing on reactivity.
Summer 2007: The “Best Of” - Without exception, prints and ultra-fine knits created a stir and won-over retail professionals. Stylists and buyers also ordered “immediately available” fabrics, which can be assembled to hit the shops within six weeks, ready to become the best-sellers for summer 2007. At the same time, they also tracked down the latest innovations for winter 07/08.
Third-year Esmod students offered their take on the Little Black Dress, updating an enduring favourite (and best-selling product) in the fashion sector.
