Fur has become a must have this fall with high demand at New York Fashion Week. From a mere trim on a cuff or collar to attractive fake fur by Marc Bowler, everything about fur is in fashion.
Michael Kors went to the extent of presenting a mink minidress at his runway show on February 7, 2007.
A soft turtleneck sweater dress with matching broadtail jacket and a wraparound cardigan made from cashmere with caramel colour were sported by models at the show.
Patchwork, metallics, chunky knits, corsets, slim shapes, and fur were presented by designers Jack McCollough and Lazaro Hernandez, which had their special touch.
A felt varsity jacket featuring crocodile skin sleeves, fur coats with casual knit sleeves and an olive coloured felt jacket worn with black trousers were some of the attractions.
Most impressing part of the show was a champagne colour chiffon jersey gown worn with a twisted halter top. A high neck ruffled top and pencil skirt with petal prints begun the show and it closed with a white chiffon swirl tank gown.
