On time for BBBarcelona's start on Wednesday, January 17th the Catalan capital showed its most friendly face and welcomed its international guests with sunny 20 degrees Celsius.
From January 17th – 19th BBBarcelona was the linchpin of the world's fashion professionals: 82.837 trade visitors were registered! Karl-Heinz Müller: “After the latest developments we had anticipated an increase indeed but the final figures exceeded all expectations, we are very happy! This incredible success reinforces last months' decisions to be correct.”

The breakdown shows an overall increase in the strongest countries, but a significant number of Northern Europeans who visited BBBarcelona should be pointed out.
Karl-Heinz Müller: “We are very glad that a lot more German retailers and buyers came to Barcelona, numbers nearly doubled compared to the fall/ winter season 2006.” The increase amounts to 80.5%. “It was the right decision to concentrate on one platform. Everybody is happy“, adds Karl-Heinz Müller.
Without a doubt AGM – ACTIVE GUEST MANAGEMENT also helped this positivedevelopment. Since last September 40 BREAD & butter employees took direct care of 105.000 individuals in nearly 54.000 organisations from 109 countries.
