As every actor secretly desires to win an Oscar, every singer aspires to win one of the most prestigious awards in the field of music, the Grammy Awards.

The Grammy awards night is a night when most nominees show off their best of best, the hottest and trendiest outfits.

The 49th Annual Grammys held in Los Angeles on the February 11, 2007, which honoured some best of best in the music industry, could witness few best and worst outfits.

This year the men stole the show in casual wear.

The American pop R&B singer and actor Justin Timberlake performed wearing white tennis shoes, a casual blue collared shirt rolled to sleeves with a vest layered over his shirt along with a skinny black tie.

The American rock band Red Hot Chili Peppers appeared in their usual-unusual outfits with beanies, yellow suits, leather vests and capri-cut pants.

The Dixie Chicks, the all female country music trio, performed the "Not Ready to Make Nice." The lead singer, Natalie Maines, wore a white tube dress with three layers of a ruffled bottom. The other members of the group wore black strapless mini dresses. The strapless dresses and colors combinations made The Dixie Chicks look fabulous.

Sexy and beautiful Beyonce Knowels sprinkled her elegance and style while performing 'Listen' from Dreamgirls movie. Her signature style of big earrings went well with her sequin-fitted dress, which was of sheer material and a U-shaped neckline.
