Cottons by Century's open 100 stores in 3 yrs

Experiencing a high growth 250% percent since its launch and particularly last financial year 2005-06 was great achievement year indeed, Cottons by Century is marching towards the No. 1 category in superfine cottons in the branded apparels segment.
Today, Cotton's has 100 Exclusive Brand Outlets and over 200 selective MBO's in south, east, west & north more than 100 cities across the country. Cottons by Century has changed its earlier emphasis on fabric exports and turned to the domestic apparel market because of better realizations and strong branded apparel market growth.
This BK Birla house is on a consolidation drive as it expands its branded Apparel retail base in Menswear & Launching womens wear shortly.
The expansion spree is on as it targets 100 new outlets in 30 cities spearding 2,50,000 sq.ft of retail area to 3,00, 000 lakh sq.ft of apparel retail area. The brand has planned aggresive growth oriented expansion plan to take forward last year turover 26 crores to 60 crores this year.
And this will happen from 100 no's of New Exclusive Brand Outlets & 300/400 no's of A+ MBO's nationwide. The idea has to sell top class quality apparels from strong retail & MBO networks, of course there will be the flow of organized retailing and to have a consistent retail profitability since it's inception.
Cottons by Century opened new stores at V-Mall, Western Express Highway, Kandivali, R-Mall, L.B.S Marg, Mulund, Nakshatra Mall, Dadar, Huma Mall, Kanjur Marg, Eastern Mall, Western Express Highway, Malad in Mumbai.
Gallops Mall, Satellite Road in Ahmedabad, Metro Plaza, Main Road in Bhopal, Dr. Yagnik Road (High Street) in Rajkot, Alkapuri (High Street) Opp. Maurya Shereton Hotel and Mcube Mall, Near Chakle Cirle at Baroda, Parle Point (High Street) at Surat, Laxmi Road, Pune, Bhandup, Mumbai, S.V.Road, Bandra, Mumbai in Western Region.
The average store value contribution would be about Rs 75 lakhs to 1 crore minimum value realization per annum.
