Mizuno to set up warehouse for sports goods in Shanghai

Mizuno will invest US $4.2 million in construction of a warehouse in Shanghai city. This warehouse will be Mizuno's biggest, occupying an area of 30,000 square meters.
Warehouse will mainly stock sports apparel, golf products, baseball gloves and shoes along with other products manufactured by company in Shanghai.
Mizuno plans to decrease production costs and open more franchise retail stores in China. There are about 700 retail outlets in the country today and company aims to raise this number to 1200 by next year.
Mizuno also wishes to develop its brands in Chinese markets through this warehouse. In 2005, company sales stood at $67 million and Mizuno has set a sales target of $135 million for this year.
