On the contrary, textile industry imported wool raw at $140.37 million with a surge of 9.16 percent over pervious year, silk raw at $84.54 million (-14.24 percent), synthetic fibres at $61.64 million (22.56 percent), raw hides and skins at $36.05 million (-4.39 percent), leather at $167.02 million (25.78 percent), dyeing and tanning material at $359.75 million (21.25 percent), woollen yarn and fabrics at $20.02 million (-49.37 percent), cotton yarn and fabrics at $179.8 million (6.99 percent), man made filament spun yarn at $357.49 million (4.99 percent), made up textile articles at $38.91million (15.67 percent), ready made garments (woven) at $41.09 million (38.75 percent), silk yarn and fabrics at $125.69 million (-11.93 percent), jute raw at $15.5 million, cotton raw and waste at 89.1 million (4.42 percent) and other textile yarn, fabrics etc, at $545.63 million (15.36 percent).
Likewise, exports of petroleum products achieved $11,308.53 million and imports reached $35,120.79 million, a surge of 84.81 percent and 43.98 percent, respectively.
