Union Budget is just a day away and textile industry is eagerly awaiting the final announcement. Major players are planning to deal with the expected outcomes and are praying for some decisions.

Business Co-Ordination House (BCH) Director Samir Gupta told Fibre2fashion his views on the budget.

He hopes that the import duties are reduced drastically. Raw material imported from outside should have relaxation. Trade barrier should be appropriate and beneficial.

He said that infrastructure should be focused in the coming budget.

Gupta believes that India will grow on a global scale, which will pressurize service sector and industry.

Smooth sailing of import is very essential.
