Abdul Hye Sarker, President, Bangladesh Textile Mills Association (BTMA), led delegation to knock on the door of the Chief Adviser Dr Fakhruddin Ahmed and asked for backing the textile industry.
The CA promised complete support and praised the export target of US $20 billion by 2011.
Sarker said that the textile has emerged as one of the top industry, generating job opportunities for millions and even striving to cope with post MFA situation.
He assured that the Government wishes to improve the services at Chittagong port and urged support from industrialists and businessmen.
