This is the second trading day after spring festival. PTA, MEG prices settled flat, semi-dull, bright polyester chip prices kept stable. CDP chip stayed firmer.
PET bottle cut price looked stable, polyester staple fiber prices showed no change.
Acrylic staple fiber 1.5D × 38 mm, acrylic top 3D x 102mm prices consolidated. CPL. Nylon-6 chip prices closed lower.
Viscose staple fiber prices were stable. The overall market trend of polyester filament was still in consolidation, but trade volume enlarged from yesterday and purchasing strength saw slow increasing.
Yarn and thread market continued its adjustment, cotton yarn J40s traded at 23,400 yuan per ton in market; there was demand for polyester yarn 32s and 45s, but price trend was unchanged.
Sales volume of rayon yarn 10s and 20s rose, due to demand from downstream production. But lower demand for cotton-polyester yarn 65/35 80/20 had no increase.
Market movement of polyester staple fiber and viscose staple fiber looked firm. The market is expected to retain mainly in consolidation.
