I want home textile to create millions of jobs in rural and semi rural areas.

We want to create millions of job via home textile that can be done provided Indian home textiles can be made cheaper and competitive in all qualities as compared to other countries.

Regarding foreign acquisition, I would like that the dividends from foreign entities of Indian companies should be exempted from tax, as the dividend is exempted from Indian companies.

Secondly if I merge this entity with my companies here, then it should carry forward losses and depreciations etc., as if it is an Indian company and should be treated as an Indian company, because they are Indian now. This is important for anybody who is doing investment. It should not be taxed again.

Regarding SME issues, Mr. P Chidambaram budget is not going to do it either way. We are already working on that. We got a team whose job is to find out Small and Medium industries and make them ancillary units.

The idea is to reduce cost of production. Because they are very low overhead etc…

I want to include handlooms in this. So idea is to reduce the cost, then I can create millions of jobs. That is one of my objectives.
