PM inaugurates Motex 2007 at Damascus Fairgrounds

Prime Minister Mohammad Naji Ottri inaugurated the 17th fashion fair Motex 2007 in Damascus yesterday. He stressed on promoting Syrian Industries and making them globally competitive through co-operation between national and economic sectors.
He called for upholding the motto 'made in Syria' to help domestic industries gain global access.
Menswear, womens wear, kids wear, lingerie for spring and summer 2007 and textiles are displayed in the exhibition at Damascus Fairgrounds.
Motex has emerged as a great attraction which represents Syria's fashion and textile industries on the international front according to Basel Hamwi, Deputy Chairman, Damascus Chamber of Industry.
