Israel and Turkey are planning to expand bilateral trade, which had already increased by five times since signing of trade agreement in 1997.
In the conference, organized by Manufacturers Association of Israel, the Israel Export Institute, the union of trade offices and the Turkish embassy in Israel, a delegation of 30 Turkish businessmen led by Turkish Minister of Foreign Trade, Kursad Tuzmen will participate.
Minister of Industry, Trade and Labour Eli Yishai and Tuzmen will sign agreement, by which products shipped between the two countries will be standardized as well as expedited the shipping process.
With signing of this agreement, proceeds from imports and exports are expected to boost and time taken in process of shipment will be reduced.
Turkey is not only trying to increase exports, but local companies are also considering for investment in Israel.
Many industries are expected to represent this week's conference including textiles.
