Today, PTA prices were flat, MEG trading was active, semi-dull and bright chip prices went steady and polyester chip prices were stable. CDP prices wrere firm.
PET bottle cut kept steady-going, prices of polyester staple fiber raised steadily.
Acrylic Staple fiber 1.5D × 38 mm, acrylic top 3D x 102mm prices settled flat, CPL, Nylon-6 chip prices consolidated.
Viscose staple fiber prices rebounded. Polyester filament yarn (semi-dull) prices in the market remained weak.
Due to increased production at low price by Taicang, trading price of conventional DTY products softened.
Yarn market still maintained its dull state. From varieties in the market, cotton yarn J32s, J40s were still salable.
PV yarn market looked flat; cotton-polyester 80/20 yarn 32s, 45s saw demand, while price of polyester yarn 45s was flat, the current central market price was 15,700 yuan per ton.
Rayon yarn prices were firm and increased slightly, of which 20s, 30s. 40s rose about 100 yuan per ton compared with yesterday, in addition, 10s, 13s prices also went up. Rayon yarn is expected to maintain a pick-up trend.
