VITAS to host a conference of AFTEX

To discuss the international integration process, the Vietnam Textile and Apparel Association (VITAS) is planning to host a conference of the ASEAN Federation of Textile Industries on March 8-9 in the historic central town of Hoi An.
Participants at the 20th plenary session would discuss policies to develop the garment and textile industry including tariffs, customs procedures, and trade promotion, and boosting regional cooperation.
VITAS would take over the AFTEX chair for 2007-2008.
