Schoeller fabrics attracted most on the Fabric Fairs in Munic, Milan and Paris.

High-tech-Nature:
Nature and attractiveness blend with sophisticated understatement and the demands for wellbeing, engineering and sustainability continue. Some examples are fabric blends with linen or cotton (S/S 2008) or wool (F/W 08-09) which are combined with c_change, NanoSphere or a wind-repelling microcoating.

Lacquering:
The eye-catching, elastic spirit innovations with soft and flexible lacquering, reminiscent of the disco fever of the 80s attracted admiring looks and many samples were requested. In addition, functional soft shell fabrics with lacquer prints, which can be applied if desired to certain areas only, were ordered in Milan and Paris.

Technical & clean:
Dynamic on the scooter and a casual entrance in the cafeteria: Fabric developments with an intentional masculine touch in a carbon look or as a twill in gold, silver, metallic and anthracite made a big impact to the specialized public. Initially developed for the motorcycle sector, these fabrics also display their fashionable flair as cool trench coats and would even have what it takes to support a revival of the "nylon jacket look".

A huge demand for “sheen and shine” existed following presentation of the latest collections and the forecasts from the trend scouts. Throughout all the fabric groups, the various aluminium looks were particularly well received. Not surprising,for several years Schoeller has had a lot to offer in aluminium and metal fabrics.

Further runaway successes were light linen blends with discrete gold content or polyester fabrics with a gold structure.
