Textile crisis worries NA Standing Committee

All Pakistan Textile Mills Association (APTMA) was called upon by Chaudhry Nazir Ahmed Jatt, Chairman and member of National Assembly Standing Committee on Textile Industry to discuss prevailing textile crisis and its impact on the national economy.
The National Assembly Standing Committee was given information about international and local textile situation and incentives given by competing countries to their respective textile sectors.
The Committee assured APTMA that they are trying to rescue the textile industry from crisis like large-scale closure of factories resulting unemployment.
Jatt also said that he would arrange a joint session of the Standing Committee of National Assembly and the Senate along with government officials to deal with and resolve the legitimate problems of the textile industry.
