New 2007 UCMTF website is online

The French Textile Machinery Manufacturers Association's 2007 website is the new portal for machinery information.

Targeted mainly to worldwide textile producers, textile engineers and students as well as the trade press, the website can be accessed in both English and French. The layout is nice and clean. Thanks to a user friendly design, the internaut can find the information he needs within seconds in a few clicks only.

The site is organized in six sections:

UCMTF- It describes the objectives and the organization of the Association, provides the key figures of the French textile machinery (2005 figures, 2006 ones will be available around May)

Companies - This is the heart of the site. A search engine provides an access to the manufacturers providing the machinery sought from 5 sectors (spinning, nonwovens, weaving, finishing and miscellaneous) or from 84 subsectors.

A description of each manufacturer is available in two formats including a PDF as well as a direct link with the manufacturers' websites and emails.

ITMA - It informs on ITMA ASIA 2005, ITMA 2007 and the joint session of ITMA ASIA+CITME 2008 and provides a link with the exhibitions websites.

2007 being an “ITMA year”, this section should be of main interest to the textile community.

- Expo News - It provides a short report on the Expos UCMTF and its members have been or will be active.

- Press Room - Here the media can find the latest press releases from UCMTF in different formats and the related photos.
