KISTMA coming to Almaty

Kazakhstan International Sewing & Textile Machines and Accessories (KISTMA) exhibition will be held during November 7 to 9, 2007. Kazakhstan is a member of the five-country Eurasia Economic Community, along with Belarus, Russia, Kyrgyzstan, and Tajikistan, and together with Russia has applied for WTO membership which it hopes to achieve in 2007.

Kazakhstan International Sewing & Textile machines and accessories will be held in Almaty. Almaty is the richest and most international and cosmopolitan city in Central Asia. Concurrent Exhibitions - The exhibition will be held concurrently within the 6th Fashion Industry Kazakhstan exhibition.

Kazakhstan's Export Opportunity - Kazakhstan is located in Central Asia and is the 9th largest country in the world. It occupies more land than Western Europe, and is the business center of 56 million Central Asians. It is immensely rich in natural resources particularly oil & gas. Oil production in 2006 is estimated at 1.3 million barrels per day (bpd), and is forecast to be over 3 million bpd before 2020.
