Konark Urban Haat to be opened soon

BHUBANESWAR:
Konark Urban Haat, second such market, on lines of Ekamra Haat in Bhubaneswar near Sun Temple in Konark, is scheduled to be operational soon.
It is being established under Urban Haat Scheme of the Ministry of Textiles and Centre has contributed Rs1.4 crore for the Rs2.67-crore project.
The Orissa Industrial Infrastructure Development Corporation (Idco) is setting up the project which will include crafts and food stalls, an exhibition hall, dormitory for artisans as well as craftsmen, common utility block, mini theatre and other such facilities.
The haat has been designed keeping in view the ethnic and cultural heritage of the State with architecture and ambience matching the activities.
