Vardhman Polytex Board to consider interim dividend

Vardhman Polytex Ltd has informed that a meeting of the Board of Directors of the Company will be held on March 16, 2007, inter alia, to consider and approve the declaration of Interim Dividend, if approved, to the members of the Company for the financial year 2006-07.
It is oldest unit of the Company. This unit has started its commercial production in 1986 with an installed capacity of 11520 spindles.
The Unit is situated in the hub of COTTON BELT and derives the advantage of procuring its basic raw material of best quality at lower cost from nearby locations.
The Company has also set up an independent Cotton Purchase Office in Bathinda for the selection & procurement of Cotton to meet out its requirement in all the Units
