Vimal introduces Designer Collection in export markets

15
Mar '07
Vimal has designed and launched a new collection of fabrics in the export markets. This is unlike most of the other Indian suppliers who either imitate market designs or largely follow consumer instructions. By creating its own collection of designs, Vimal has positioned itself in a different league – along with suppliers from Europe and USA.

This would also help increasing a premium image for Vimal in the international markets vis-à-visother Indian suppliers. Further, fabric from a design collection commands better image and pricing too.

The uniqueness of this new collection of 'export fabrics' is that a reputed international textile designer from Minova – a well-renowned design house in Huddersfield, England has helped design many of the fabrics. This design house is a supplier of some of the finest fabrics in the world, offered through the best known fabric and garment brand names in Europe, the US and Japan.

The textile designer is among the foremost of the textile designers in the world, while he considers himself to be a trend visualiser. He follows ongoing trends and anticipates future trends in textiles / fabrics.

With this understanding, he designs textiles / fabrics for the forthcoming season, thereby, creating newer trends in fashion.

His formidable expertise has been roped in by Vimal to provide the international and futuristic design edge to Vimal's export collection and make it an attractive choice to customers.

This future-ready step is in the right direction as Vimal is the largest exporter of worsted fabrics from India and supplies fabric to some of the top brand names in the apparel world like J C Penney, Brooks Brothers, Dockers, Nautica, etc.
