Prime Source Forum – definitive meeting place for apparel industry

The 2007 Prime Source Forum will be held on 29 - 30 March at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre. Senior executive from around the globe involved in the sourcing, manufacturing and servicing for the global apparel industry will be in Hong Kong at the end of the month for the second edition of Prime Source Forum – the definitive meeting place for the apparel industry.

Some 40 speakers and panelists – each a distinguished specialist in his or her own sphere in this industry will lead the discussions in this annual two day meeting which sets out to tackle many of the issues encountered by this major industry both today and in the foreseeable future.

Senior industry leaders from Vietnam will be briefing the Forum on the latest situation concerning anti-dumping issues and Stuart Harbinson, Pascal Lamy's senior advisor, will give the latest update from the World Trade Organisation.

Sourcing trends - China versus India – who will emerge as the leading manufacturer – or will it be Vietnam? Compliance and social responsibility and the growing concern for environmental issues; new technologies and the need for more advanced training - these are only a few of the adsorbing subjects to be covered on 29th and 30th March at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre.
