Motexha 2007 opens today

Motexha 2007, the largest garments, textiles, leather and fashion accessories fair in the Middle East, opens today at the Dubai International Exhibition Centre (DIEC).
Diplomats from Taiwan, Indonesia, Belgium, Pakistan, Armenia, Spain and Italy will be present in the event.
Motexha have gained considerable support from local and international trade organizations.
TEXMAS along with the Dubai Chamber of Commerce & Industry are sponsoring this annual exhibition.
Other supporter for the event are National Agency for Export Development (NAFED) of Indonesia, China Chamber of Commerce for Import and Export of Machinery (CCCT), APICCAPS of Portugal and Thailand's Department of Export Promotion (DEP).
More than 225 exhibitors from 25 different countries like Turkey, UK, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Indonesia, Thailand, India, Pakistan, UAE, Syria, Qatar, Jordan, Egypt, Kuwait and Lebanon are participating in the event.
The Pakistani Pavilion will showcase its top international fashion designer Nadya Mistry. Her creations in-vogue silk, synthetics, knitwear and readymade garments will be highlighted here.
Peter Reed (Textiles) Limited from the UK, pioneers in the production of cotton bed linens, bath and sleepwear linens.
Motexha 2007, will showcase international brands and franchise labels, with more than 100 mid to high-end brands and new designers.
Motexha represents a year-on-year increase of 35 per cent and shows a growth in US $13 billion textile industry of UAE.
Motexha has become the most important platform for escalating Middle East textiles industry.
