HYDERABAD:
An International Trade Facilitation Centre to guide small and medium exporters in international trade practices is under consideration of State Government.

Various Special Economic Zones (SEZs) from textiles & garments, footwear & sports apparels, food processing & agri products, gems & jewellery and health sector related products, being set up will increase exports significantly once units in SEZs start operations.

The new facility is expected to help exporters and importers solve difficulties they face in trading with their counterparts and act as a one-stop shop for exporters and importers for issue of clearances.

Experts in foreign trade will be part of the centre and will offer counseling to traders to make them understand practices and emerging needs in international market.

State Government is positively considering setting up of the new centre which was mooted by Federation of Andhra Pradesh Chambers of Commerce and Industry. (FAPCCI)

FAPCCI had forwarded proposal for the new centre and had agreed to provide space for it on its premises in city along with necessary infrastructure and communication facilities.
