According to Xie Ming, president of Jiangsu Provincial Textile Industry Association, more and more textile and garment enterprises in Jiangsu now pay attention to enhance product content and value-added products.
The association will make full use of this momentum and guide enterprises to focus on specialized industries, energetically carry out deep processing trade, further strengthening the competitiveness of the industry.
Meanwhile, depending on many famous brands of Jiangsu textile and garment industry, they plan to build up a number of stable quality, high-grade garment export bases with each export value exceeding $100 million. They will also create one to two international brands and 20 nationwide well-known brands through three to five years of efforts.
