National Textile and Apparel Council (CNTAC) has revealed that price of textile and garment exported from China has hiked considerably.
It is anticipated that textile industry will continue a stable growth throughout 2007, with expected rise in production around 10 percent and that in it value nearly 20 percent.
Statistics show that in 2006, the average unit price of exported textile products grew 10.14 percent.
The total value of the textile export trade reached 147.09 billion yuan in 2006, up 25.1 percent from 2005.
Sales income of the textile industry recorded year-on-year rise of 21.3 percent, with total profits up 28 percent.
