Cimex Corporation delegation led by Vice President Berto Perez Oramas from Cuba, visited HCMC recently where they met with Vice Chairman Nguyen Trung Tin.

As Cuba's biggest import-export enterprise, Cimex, sought to expand trade relations and imports from Vietnam and said that it was on a look out for potential exporters.
In 2006, this company registered turnover of about Euro 1.2 billion and imported over US $2 million worth of consumer goods from Vietnam, largely comprising garments and footwear.
Cimex operates a chain of supermarkets all over Cuba employing around 25,000 locals.
