Fibres & yarn prices on the move

Today, PTA, MEG prices rose, while semi-dull and bright polyester chip prices also were upswept. CDP chip prices went sideways. PET bottle cut prices were stable. Prices of polyester staple fiber were firm.
Acrylic staple 1.5D × 38 mm, acrylic top 3D x 102mm prices settled flat, CPL. Nylon-6 chip prices declined.
Prices of conventional varieties were steady, individual items, like DTY. POY, following the large market trade last week, slightly increased. At present, spinning factories intend to raise prices, but still face more or less pressures on stocks.
Polyester yarn market as a whole is more likely to consolidate.
Yarn market, cotton yarn sales were normal, in which, sales of J21s, 40s rebounded, prices mainly kept a steady trend.
Cotton-polyester yarn, polyester-rayon yarn gave a smooth performance. Varieties of polyester yarn 65/35 looked weak, but 45s was still salable.
Viscose staple fiber prices rose, viscose yarn prices still indicated a supplement-rally posture. Viscose yarn market is expected a hold its uptrend outlook.
