Intertextil Balticum 2007 - spring event of Latvian fashion industry

For three days participants could introduce to potential customers their products, as well as evaluate newly established contacts and possible further cooperation.
In the exhibition visitors could see knitted and tailored garments, leather and fur articles, designers` collections, underwear, accessories, home textile as well as different materials for sewing made in Latvia.
Exhibition offered a wide fashion show programme:
Alongside with activities held by the participants in their booths, the exhibition offered multishaped fashion shows on the stage.
Especially outstanding were collections of such Latvian companies as Onyx AB, which presented fur coats, SIA Artoni Kids – clothing for girls aged from 6 to 16; designer Aleksey Makarenok presented festive clothing collection for girls, SIA Ameri – knitted garments, and SIA Mendi – maternity clothing.
Visitors showed great interest in fashion shows offered by foreign guests – clothing of the Danish company DK Fashion, Nuance–Corsets, a collection of exclusive corsets by Russian designer Nadezhda Piskun, and collections by Italian clothing manufacturers Pellicceria Mele, Verde Veronica, Verdissima, Franco Ziche, Bruna Bondanelli, Frammenti, Lapeco and Antress.
