Corporate sector, NGOS & Govt should come together for nation development

She mentioned that India should bridge the digital divide and balancing short-term with long term gain within our country needs to be worked out for the future of young generation. India is determined to overcome its own problem of education and health and will put the resources together for the development of other poor countries, she said.
The key initiative of post conference follow-up is to be done by participants and the conference will generate future leaders said Mr. Richard Wharburton, Chairman, CSC Liason Group. He announced that Jamaica and United Kingdom have requested for holding Commonwealth Studies Conference, 2011 and the committee will review both the requests before awarding the conference.
The presentations by the study groups represent kaleidoscope to spectrum of complexities of challenges for development faced by India and Malaysia, said Mr. N K Singh, Deputy Chairman, Planning Commission, Government of Bihar. He added that, the challenges are of education and finding ways of developing young generation into a dividend of demography. The challenge is also to foster the high growth into employment without disturbing the cultural existence, said Mr. Singh.
Mr. Dhruv M Sawhney, Chairman, Tenth Commonwealth Study Conference said that the spirit of India is the key driver of growth and the CSC shows the way to future leaders. He also mentioned that CII will compile the study by different groups of CSC in the form of a book and will soon host a website for all participant to continue their contribution as alumni of the conference.
