The total textile and apparel exports to the US earned $2.809 billion in January 2007, a growth of 54.82 percent compared with the same period last year.
China ranked as the top supplier with 35.33 percent of the entire textile and apparel imports of the US.
Export volume marked 1.711 billion square meters, an increase of 23.33 percent over the same month of last year, also ranking first.
Clothing imports from China reached $2.013 billion, with an increase of 79.87 percent.
