MidEast Watch & Jewellery Show to be treated to infusion of beauty

Apr '07
The 22nd edition of the MidEast Watch and Jewellery Show, which begins at Expo Centre Sharjah on April 25, 2007, will feature more than 350 master jewellers from across the world. Besides individual participation, the Show will host several national pavilions. The MidEast Watch and Jewellery Show is considered the region's longest running watch and jewellery event and is widely acclaimed by jewellery connoisseurs for its display of unique and stylish collections.

Year after Year, edition after edition, the show has always been the first in the region to unveil the season's newest jewellery collections. The coming edition of the Show, a five-day affair, will display diamonds, precious stones, loose pearls, gold and diamond jewellery, diamond and pearl sets, and watches. Visitors to the Show will be treated to an infusion of beauty, elegance, and fine craftsmanship through some exquisite creations by jewellers from Bahrain, Hong Kong – China, India, Italy, Jordan, Saudi Arabia, Lebanon, Malaysia, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Singapore, Turkey, and the UAE.

A major attraction of the Show will be the collective participation through national pavilions from the countries of Hong Kong – China, India, Italy, Thailand, and Singapore. The Hong Kong pavilion, which has been an integral part of the show for several years now, will once again be a major crowd puller. In fact, it will be Hong Kong's biggest jewellery pavilion in the region with participation from over 60 jewellers.
