TEXMED 2007 aims to be a rallying point for Euro-Mediterranean textiles and clothing sector professionals for stimulating synergies and building alliances in the spirit of solidarity, complementarities, and win-win partnership.

The organisers of TEXMED, the Tunisian Federation of Textiles (FENATEX) and the Center for the Promotion of Tunisian Exports (CEPEX) in collaboration with the Technical Center for Textiles (CETTEX have fixed as their objective to consolidate the success recorded during the previous edition and to offer once again a platform for meetings in Tunis for professionals from the clothing and textiles sector.

Four distinct exhibition spaces will be featured at TEXMED: a space for co-contracting and finished products (the fleuron and showcase of the exhibition), a space for sub-contracting, a space for materials and accessories (sourcing) and a space for creations and services.

With a total of 350 exhibitors, the exhibition will cover a total surface area of 10,000 square meters. Participating foreign exhibitors will be coming from throughout the Euro- Mediterranean region and the countries of the Arabian and African regions.

A particular effort has been made in the identification and the invitation of at least 500 foreign order givers. The objective being to reinforce the position of the Tunisia textiles sector in the order books for the 2008 collections.

The TEXMED promotional campaign will be multidirectional and will include the most well known specialized medias reaching notably the order givers of the European clothing community.
