CMDT workers serve strike notice

Malian Company for the Development of Textiles, CMDT went on three day strike last Tuesday. They are demanding implementation of a 2003 social plan ahead of the privatization of the company in 2008.
The first phase of strike was launched on March 20.
The Union leaders served a fresh notice to the Government regarding the involvement of workers in the activities of technical commission for privatisation of CMDT.
