Technology & brands - key to global textile world

The focus of global competition in textile economy has gradually shifted from reliance on labor comparative advantage to technological creativity and brand creativity.

Technology and brands are crucial for any country to secure dominant position in transnational resources allocation and the advantages after its rapid increase.

Currently 'Science and technology', 'Brand' and 'International cooperation' are the popular terms in textile and garment industry. These three terms are also the keywords in the recently held fourth Global Textile Economic Forum.

Experts point out that under the new order, the strategic option of textile industry is to implement scientific development concept, focus on technology and brands, transform the mode of growth, and expand international cooperation.
