Shopping heat at Budget Terminal with 'HOT DEALS' & 'LOVE THE SUN'

Apr '07
This summer, in anticipation of higher outbound travel to nearby resort and short haul destinations, Nuance-Watson (Singapore) decides to turn up the shopping heat at Budget Terminal with their latest installations, “HOT DEALS” and “LOVE THE SUN” promotions.

This initiative is yet another themed promotion focusing on sub-category opportunities. Featuring fragrance hot deals at irresistibly low prices whilst the sun loving individuals will be tempted to a selection of sun tanning and protection essentials, it is perfect as last minute pick-ups.

The promotions are developed to support Civil Aviation Authority of Singapore (CAAS) continuous efforts to promote shopping at Budget Terminal since opening a year ago. With marked increases in passenger and flight numbers, spending in Budget Terminal is undoubtedly still a challenge as passengers tend to convene nearer the gates instead of shopping due to the nature of seat allocation which goes by “first come first serve”.

Ken Tse, Executive General Manager of Nuance-Watson Singapore said: ”We recognize CAAS' relentless efforts to drive up penetration and glad to develop plans and activities that complement their initiatives. With that in mind, we are constantly on the move to understand customer profile and buying habits in this low cost carrier terminal in order to meet the needs and desires of this segment of travelers.”
