Agricultural research needs to be boosted, UAF

During the concluding ceremony of Alumni Meet of Punjab Agricultural University (PAU), a ten-member Pakistan delegation of University of Agriculture, Faislabad (UAF) including Iftikhar Ahmad Khan, Dean, UAF, Mohammad Asgar Cheema, Dean, Faculty of Economics was present.

While speaking at the ceremony, Iftikhar Ahmed stressed on strengthening Indo-Pak relations as their culture, traditions, dress code, festivals and folklore match to a great extent.

According to him both the Punjabs have capacity to emerge as world power with agricultural research. Exchange of scientists and students between the two Universities would add to ideas and knowledge in two states.

Asgar Cheema, emphasized on bridging gap by spreading awareness about Indo-Pak contribution to South-Asian peace among the youth.
